The team was expertly led by Mr. R. Thompson and Mr. Almartino Richards. It was a trial year for new strategies and techniques. As a result, much preparation took place leading up to the competition and expectations were high.

The team started out on a victorious note as we were triumphant in the first round against DeCarteret College with a score line of 42-14. This performance left many onlookers pleased, which led to our being considered strong contenders for the trophy.

Unfortunately our hopes were trampled as we lost in the second round. Though upsetting, it was a humbling experience. It is inexplicable as to why such a good team suffered this loss but one cannot dishonour the will of the almighty.
