Battle of the minds. intellectual intercourse. Mutual intelligibility. These were some of the phrases that rang through the minds of the team members in their bid to maintain their hallmark of acclaimed excellence. This philosophy was also upheld by the other members of the society who gave unrelenting support to our mission of success which was spurred mostly by the innate desire to be the best. The heat of the 2006-2007 debate season began during the Christmas term when we entered the Caribbean Institute of Technology's Debate Competition. This was geared towards enlightening the population of advancements and trends in the Information Technology industry and E-Learning.
The penultimate match in the series saw Munro College facing the formidable Herbert Morrison. After what was a keenly contested match, we were on top again. Following a spirited debate, Munro won the final match. The heat of the season intensified as we embarked on the Nationall Schools' Debate Competition. After what was an interesting second round match we lost to Homewood Technical High. With heads held high we look foward to another year as we proudly reminice a season 'froth' with challenges however 'glazed' by success.
