It was with a great sense of pride and honour that I once again accept the challenge of the PTA President for another year. This year the PTA continued to play its integral part in assisting in the development of the school and the ultimate enhancement of the facilities and programmes for both the staff and our students. The success of the last Annual fundrasing Fair allowed us to fulfil our promise of renovating the main bathroom facilities at a cost of approximately $478,000. Concrete tables and benches were also installed in the areas to be used by the parents during visiting times and by students as study areas.  These cost $52,000. Donations in excess of $100,000 were made at the Greta Williams Fund towards assiting our needy students. In our 150th year of existence, $150,000 was donated to the 150th Anniversay Fund.

With tremendous support from our parents/ guardians, teachers and sponsors, The PTA successfully staged another annual fair where a modest profit of approximately $715,000 was realised. Due to the relative isolation of the school, security is one of the main concerns of our parents and members of staff. This is brought especially to the fore in the event of a power outage and it is with this in mind that the need of a standby generator was identified.

I would like to take this oppertunity to commend and thank the members of the formidable PTA executive body for their zeal and continued commitment and support during the year. As parents, let us keep in mind that we are stakeholders and continue to work diligently for the improvement, deelopment and preservation of this noble instituiton - "In Arce Sitam Quis Occultabit". Mya God Bless you all.
