Vice Principal

Vice principal's message

As we continue to chart the course for future luminaries in the current global environment, the administration of Munro College is deeply committed to the task of empowering our young men to remain competitive and challenged and to work assiduously towards the attainment of extraordinary levels of curricular and co-curricular success.

Paramount among our academic accolades for 2006-2007, is the impressive performance of John Clarke who copped the awarded for 1st place at the National Level in the CAPE Law Unit 2 Examination. Worthy of note too, is the remarkable achievement of Kwame Gayle, who is the proud recipient of the Kofi Anan Scholarship to Manchester College in the USA. In the co-curricular sphere, I have been particularly pleased with the performance of the members of the Literary & Debating Society who emerged as champions of the Caribbean Institute of Technology Secondary Schools' Debating Competition. Mention must be equally made of the multiple gold medal recipient- the Munro College Gospel Choir.

While we bask in glory of 150 years of excellence in education, we must bring into sharp focus a dynamic and formidable future as we remain resolute in our quest to prepare graduates of the highest caliber, capable of excelling in a competitive global arena.
