Last academic year we achieved many successes at Munro College of which the entire school family should be justly proud.
These results were achieved mainly due to the internal stability and the togetherness of the majority of stakeholders. This performance reinforces the maxim that together we can achieve far more than individually and should be a lesson to all and sundry.
Inspite of these achievement, there is much more that needs to be done. Modernization of the physical plant is a top priority and moves in this direction should be supported by all. The Board of Management, staff and students express sincere thanks to all who assisted in repairs after Hurricane Dean.Special mention must be made of Ministry of Education, ALPART, NCB Foundation and Munronians in Atlanta, Georgia and Canada. As a result of these generous donations, all of Hurricane Dean's damage (except roof of library) was repaired and school was quickly back in full operation.
As we approach the next academic year, we invite all our stakeholders to work with a fixity of purpose to build on the achievements of the past to create a brighter future.
The Principal, Mr. Branford Gayle
