The year began with our full complement of teachers. The department boasted an excellent blend of age and youth, experience and fresh minds; some of whom had just graduated at the top of their faculties.

On the overall, we were a team prepared not only to teach by words but also to lead by example. Our aim is to improve the teaching environment both physically and in terms of personnel, thereby improving the effectiveness of the delivery of science to the students.

A good teacher is like a candle- It consumes itself to light the way for others.
